DevOps Engineer – AWS Migrations

The Role:

As a Cloud Migration Engineer, you’ll be responsible for working with the client in migrating workloads to AWS. You will utilize tools like AWS CloudEndure (AGN) or Server Migration Service to migrate or rehost VMs from the client’s datacenter to AWS.

Location: Bangalore

Minimum qualifications

Must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• 2-4 years experience in migrating operating systems, Windows or Linux, to AWS.
• Experience in Terraform and/or CloudFormation for provisioning infrastructure.
• Excellent communication skills with an attitude to learn.
• Understanding of AWS infrastructure mainly on Compute, Storage and networking.
• Ability to work on weekends to support migrations as needed.
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice to have:

• AWS Certification in DevOps or Solutions Architect
• Experience on Application Migration Service (MGN) or CloudEndure
• Scripting experience on Shell, Python or Powershell.
• Linux or Windows Admin experience.
